Shopping is fun..

Yahoo, finally I have chance to go for shopping after 2 months trapping in the hostel. Damn busy studying until I hardly had time to rest well. Thanks to my sister for accompany me to go shopping. My gang of friends are not those type who are into shopping :-( Very happy..I bought something for myself. Try guessing how much they cost =p

Quarantine day +.+

Our hostel has routine 'cockroaches-killing ' day..and on 26th Dec was one of it. Me and some of my blockmates together decided to clean up the kitchen as we knew always that there was thousand of cockroaches living there :-\ But out of expectation, the amount of them were more than we thought of. We clean up the racks, cupboard and kitchen table inside the kitchen but still there were alot of them trying to escape from us. We spray repellent on them and even step on them.

Then the floor lady came..and she too, was astonished by those cockroaches. We felt so embarrassed, coz we never try to keep our kitchen as clean as possible everyday..tat's why there were lots of them habituate there :-( Some of the blockmates like to left their unwashed dishes overnight eventhough they knew that will attracts cockroaches. She spray the real pesticide on whole kitchen and prohibited us from entering the kitchen until night.

Sarah sealed the door of the kitchen coz there are cockroaches kept escaping thru the door slit. And.. she even wrote a notice and stick on it in case some blurr blockmates open them with force. ( Adeline is one of them tat most probably will do so coz she was sleeping all the time when the whole thing happen.)

The cockroaches trying very hard to escape from the repellent. Too bad la, they were stucked there due to the tape on the door. ;-)

That period of time was so so suffering for all of us. We couldn't cook lunch and dinner.. *sob sob* All we can eat were only those food that no need to be cook at kitchen. Some of them even bought grill chicken from market opposite our hostel to eat.

Then finally the time to unseal the kitchen had came. And omg..the smell of the cockroaches were so so bad. There were alot of the dead bodies on the floor, and we had to clean up everything, including mopping the floor coz the pesticide was oil form.

P/s: To all my blockmates, please be considerate next time when u want to leave ur uncleaned dishes overnight, please think of the consequences.. Thank you.

Last Zachut day ;-)

[28 Dec,FRI.] Yay, finally we collected our last zachut from TopoAnat. I guess we're the last group to get the zachut.(*not our fault, it's due to d stupid time table + a HARDWORKING professor +.+)

Can u imagine..we could straight away go to eat after sitting in the classroom whole morning with a cadevar in front us. What to do..it's the life of medical student. LOL

The China-China Restaurant we're going are located at Smolenskaya Ploshad, Sadovoe Ring. For ur information, Sadovoe (Garden Ring) is one of the most important ring roads in Moscow beside MKAD (Moscow Circular Automobile Road) and TTK (Third Transport Ring). The traffic is very hectic&heavily loaded during working hours, as what I remembered, it's never quite 247. Most of the shops along the road are open 24 hours daily.

Traffic is quite smooth during afternoon.

We enter the restaurant 15 minutes pass 12pm, right after it start working.(Imagine how hungry we are=P) It is buffet@eat all u can style, so most of us emptied our stomach the whole morning..haha. Hey, it cost 300 rub per head, OK? Beside, drinks r not included.. of cuz we must eat as much as we could..

Comments for the food there..
Well, nt bad overall. But feel very muak if eat frequently. Their choice are nt much, most are repeated (Eg: For sweet&sour flavour, they've sweet&sour chicken,sweet&sour fish,sweet&sour beef, sweet&sour pork..etc). However, their fried prawn dumpling is superb, nt to be left out their varieties of salad& last but nt least Baskin Robbins ice cream <- this is the force that attracted me to eat there.

The amount of Baskin Robbins I ate.. 6 cups.

We loafed there from 12.15pm till evening.. dun ask me y we stayed there so long, I oso dunno wat we did there.. talking, laughing, posing.. It was at first our group 1 makan only, but ended up one whole bunch of friends came join us when we're eating half-way, I guess they were too free too after all classes finished..haha.

Winter holidays finally start.. time to rest well, relax&enjoy to the fullest, & recharging for the coming new semester.

First of all, a big thanks for Kim and Chye Li for cooking us all those dishes. None of us remember to take photo of the food b4 eat..guess av one were too hungry at tat time (v start eating at 10pm) +.+

Hey, Sarah manage to remember took sum photos of the dirty dish..lol

Then.. oh oo. All the girls turned crazy. I've proofs for it.

Christmas Bash '07

Wonder y I'm so rajin..write this immediately after came back frm the consert. It was really a waste tat I didn't manage to take any photos there. My digital cam.is not the good one..sigh. But going to upload sum of the photos after I get it frm my professional photographer friend..hehe =P

Overall,I enjoyed alot,there were alot of performances(break dance,Brazilian Capoiera, movie & drama presentation, etc).But there was sum part tat I nearly fell asleep(opps..).However, today was my lucky lucky day!!I got Jaclyn Victor's LIMITED EDITION CD!! Can u believe it? LIMITED EDITION! Never thought I got the opportunity to get it =)



In order to get the CD,one must be the fastest to call through the mobile phone number they gave..Seriously, it was not easy to call through +.+ I nearly gave up b4 my call was answered,so so happy.

Here is the outfit I wore to the concert..since I didn't manage to take photo there.Thanks for my friends who help me in choosing the outfit. Only the earing belongs to me.. ..
