Quarantine day +.+

Our hostel has routine 'cockroaches-killing ' day..and on 26th Dec was one of it. Me and some of my blockmates together decided to clean up the kitchen as we knew always that there was thousand of cockroaches living there :-\ But out of expectation, the amount of them were more than we thought of. We clean up the racks, cupboard and kitchen table inside the kitchen but still there were alot of them trying to escape from us. We spray repellent on them and even step on them.

Then the floor lady came..and she too, was astonished by those cockroaches. We felt so embarrassed, coz we never try to keep our kitchen as clean as possible everyday..tat's why there were lots of them habituate there :-( Some of the blockmates like to left their unwashed dishes overnight eventhough they knew that will attracts cockroaches. She spray the real pesticide on whole kitchen and prohibited us from entering the kitchen until night.

Sarah sealed the door of the kitchen coz there are cockroaches kept escaping thru the door slit. And.. she even wrote a notice and stick on it in case some blurr blockmates open them with force. ( Adeline is one of them tat most probably will do so coz she was sleeping all the time when the whole thing happen.)

Written : "Attention ALL the inhabitants of 408:
The kitchen is strictly OFFLIMIT till after 9pm
Admission at risk of DEATH !!!
( Remember pesticides from biochem?)"

The cockroaches trying very hard to escape from the repellent. Too bad la, they were stucked there due to the tape on the door. ;-)

That period of time was so so suffering for all of us. We couldn't cook lunch and dinner.. *sob sob* All we can eat were only those food that no need to be cook at kitchen. Some of them even bought grill chicken from market opposite our hostel to eat.

Then finally the time to unseal the kitchen had came. And omg..the smell of the cockroaches were so so bad. There were alot of the dead bodies on the floor, and we had to clean up everything, including mopping the floor coz the pesticide was oil form.

P/s: To all my blockmates, please be considerate next time when u want to leave ur uncleaned dishes overnight, please think of the consequences.. Thank you.
